Not currently taking new patients.

I am an experienced general practitioner and Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners with a strong personal network of specialists for referral. I take a holistic approach to patient care and am happy to support patients who are inclined to choose natural medicines as their first preference, and those who are exploring emotional, spiritual or environmental factors that may be affecting their health.
Following my qualification at Otago University in 1990, my first six years as a doctor were spent at Christchurch Hospital in a range of specialist wards. I entered general practice in 1996, worked in a number of medical centres in Christchurch, and then travelled and worked for eighteen months in Ireland. After returning home to Christchurch I became a partner in the friendly, professional team at Cashmere Health.
I am married with two children who recently left home to study in Auckland, leaving us to care for a high-maintenance cat, an over-enthusiastic dog, an aging rabbit, a retired pony and a lone chicken! Now that I have more free time, I am able to revive my interest in gardening, nutrition, music and the arts. With any luck, I’ll be able to find the time to pick up my earlier experiments in sketching and painting
