‘As a GP in Scotland I was lucky to come to Christchurch on sabbatical with our young children in 1997. We fell in love with New Zealand and its people and returned many times since.

This was on holidays and a further sabbatical in 2005 when I worked with Donna (Holdgate).

Now our children are grown up and we are free to spend longer in Aotearoa. This led to an invitation to work regularly in Cashmere Health and especially to cover holiday leave.

I am delighted to again be a GP in Christchurch and am enjoying being part of a great team here. I look forward to meeting many of you and hopefully will be of help. If I use the occasional strange Scottish or Irish phrase….please forgive me!’
