Susan’s patients
It will come as no surprise to learn that I am planning to retire in May this year.
This will be quite a wrench for me as I have known some of you since I started at Opawa Surgery 38 years ago and I will miss you. However I am pleased to announce that my Practice will be taken over by Dr Naveed Howey.
Naveed grew up on a farm near Timaru and graduated from Otago Medical school like me. He and his wife have a 2 year old daughter and a very new baby girl. It is such a relief to me to know that I can leave my patients in the care of a young GP who can hopefully look after you for the next 38 years!
I have loved my time as your GP – it has been a privilege to be part of your lives and I wish you all well. I have three grandchildren now so look forward to watching them grow.
My thanks to my lovely colleagues and staff at Cashmere Health who have made the 4 years since we left Opawa Surgery easy for me.
Sincerely
Susan Gordon
